ASSISTANCE FROM CREDIT LINK CAPITAL SUBSIDY SCHEME (CLCSS)
The objective of the Scheme is to facilitate technology up-gradation in MSEs by providing an upfront capital subsidy of 15 per cent (on institutional finance of uptoRs 1 crore availed by them) for induction of well-established and improved technology in the specified 51 sub-sectors/products approved. In other words, the major objective is to upgrade their plant & machinery with state-of-the-art technology, with or without expansion and also for new MSEs which have set up their facilities with appropriate eligible and proven technology duly approved under scheme guidelines. The Scheme is a demand driven one without any upper limit on overall annual spending on the subsidy disbursal.
ASSISTANCE FROM AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT EXPORT DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (APEDA)
The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established by the Government of India under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act passed by the Parliament in December, 1985. The Act (2 of 1986) came into effect from 13th February, 1986 by a notification issued in the Gazette of India: Extraordinary: Part-II [Sec. 3(ii): 13.2.1986). The Authority replaced the Processed Food Export Promotion Council (PFEPC).

FOOD PROCESSING OF INDIA (MOFPI)
The main objective of the Scheme is creation of processing and preservation capacities and modernisation/ expansion of existing food processing units with a view to increasing the level of processing, value addition leading to reduction of wastage. The processing activities undertaken by the individual units covers a wide range of post-harvest processes resulting in value addition and/or enhancing shelf life with specialized facilities required for preservation of perishables. While expansion of processing capacity is necessary to increase the level of processing and reduce wastage, the induction of modern technology is intended to make a clear difference in terms of process efficiencies as well as improving the quality of the end product. The setting up of new units and modernization/ expansion of existing units is covered under the scheme.
Scheme is implemented through organizations such as Central & State PSUs/ Joint Ventures/ Farmer Producers Organization (FPOs)/ NGOs/ Cooperatives/ SHG’s/ Pvt. Ltd companies/ individuals proprietorship firms engaged in establishment/ upgradation/ modernization of food processing units.
ASSISTANCE FROM TECHNOLOGY UPGRADATION FUND SCHEME (TUFS)
The Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS) has been notified by the Ministry of Textiles vide Resolution of even number dated 13.01.2016. In accordance to the said Resolution, the Guidelines of ATUFS i.e. financial and operational parameters and implementation mechanism for ATUFS during its implementation period from 13.01.2016 to 31.03.2022 are laid down.
In order to promote ease of doing business in the country and achieve the vision of generating employment and promoting exports through “Make in India” with “Zero effect and Zero defect” in manufacturing, it has been decided that the Government would provide credit linked Capital Investment Subsidy (CIS) under Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS).
The scheme would facilitate augmenting of investment, productivity, quality, employment, exports along with import substitution in the textile industry. It will also indirectly promote investment in textile machinery (having benchmarked technology) manufacturing.
PACKAGING SCHEME OF INCENTIVES 2013 & 2019- MAHARASHTRA
In order to encourage the dispersal of industries to the less developed areas the State Government has been giving a Package of Incentives to New / Expansion units to set up in the developing region of the state since 1964 under a scheme popularly known as Package Scheme of Incentives. The said scheme was amended from time to time. As per the Government Resolution dated 1st April, 2013, Govt. has declared Package Scheme of Incentives 2013 shall remain in operation from 1st April 2013 to 31st March 2018. An eligible unit in the Private Sector, State Public Sector / Joint Sector and the Co-operative Sector & Central Public Sector (Only for Mega Project) is considered for incentives under the PSI 2013 Scheme.
